The Basics

Before you start editing a page, you might want to take a moment to review how to log on and navigate to your content, use the editing ribbon and undo mistakes.

All the page editing is done through the editing ribbon. See Editing Ribbon: Quick reference guide

  • Block Quote – for a direct quote of more than a few words
  • Horizontal Rule – as needed
  • References  – as needed

Don’t use:

Edit source button

There is a button on the editing ribbon called Edit Source. Clicking this button will reveal the HTML code for the content box you are editing.

Please do not try to edit this code. This can result in errors on the page and create non-standard code for our development team to fix.
