Troubleshooting

If you cannot see the editing ribbon after you have logged in, click the cogwheel in the top right of the page to reveal the drop-down menu. Select Show Ribbon.

Editing ribbon

All the page editing is done through the editing ribbon. See Editing Ribbon: Quick reference guide

  • Heading 5  – for a heading in a web part
  • Heading 4  – as needed
  • Button – for a callout displayed on its own, with no other web part, or Flat Button – for a callout displayed with a web part. Please use only one button on a page.
  • Block Quote – for a direct quote of more than a few words
  • Horizontal Rule – as needed
  • References  – as needed

Don’t use:

  • Inset

  • Internal broken (this is used by the developers to flag a broken link: please change the text to Paragraph style once you have fixed the link)

Edit source button

There is a button on the editing ribbon called Edit Source. Clicking this button will reveal the HTML code for the content box you are editing.

Please do not try to edit this code. This can result in errors on the page and create non-standard code for our development team to fix.
